Back to the Groove! Back to Bebop Pop!
"Champagne, Cocaine, Nicotine Stains shows Lydia Lunch surprisingly melodic.
The Jazzy grooves with Tommy Grenas and Len del Rio from the Anubian Lights (album on CDHW: Naz Bar), by their own admission admirers of 'Queen Of Siam', Lydias first solo project.
And they succeeded to transmit exactly this bar jazz atmosphere into electronic soundscapes, featuring Ms Lunch perfectly in the role of a nasty Cabaret Chanteuse.
